Redeye provides a short research update following Alzinova’s recent rights issue of approximately SEK35.7m and positive phase Ib final results. While securing financing through a partnership would have been the preferred outcome, we view this capital raise as a necessary step to extend the company’s financial runway, carry out preparations ahead of the phase II study and enhance its negotiating position in ongoing partnership discussions.
