Redeye comments on Vitec carrying out a directed share issue of cSEK1.1bn in gross proceeds to increase its readiness for M&A opportunities that appear on short notice. We have previously discussed how opportunistic share issues are part of Vitec’s strategy and accounted for some future dilution in our financial estimates. We update our financial estimates and adjust our valuation slightly.
